I will attempt to describe my first impressions from the raw footage from the shoot last weekend. As we were under a lot of pressure to produce the project, we decided that it wouldn’t be possible to fully realise the Fairy Tale script that I wrote. This is because the script involved puppets, of which would be expensive and difficult to source. We decided to shoot the script as a live action peice instead of animation. The final product didn’t have puppets in it and the ‘bunny’ gag in the script was not able to be realised because of this. I have also reflected on my use of dialogue in the confrontation scene with Chastity and Ted. I realise now that the dialogue was way to harsh and out of context for the fairy tale princess that I was trying to portray.

There is a lot of work ahead and there is no doubt that there will be a lot of colour grading to make the images fit in with the fairy tale aesthetic. I have also reflected on my use of music in the party scene and will attempt to change the music to something more appropriate for the fairy tale genre.
