And it begins… First Media Class, 2 March 2015

Day one of Uni done and dusted. Find all my classes. Check. Make at least one new friend. Double check. Cope with information overload. Check (anyone heard of this new drink called coffee?). Become super excited with my Media class and first project. Major check. Simultaneously die from confusion and worry. Check. Lose/have wallet stolen. Check mate. Ahh Uni, what a first impression you have made.

Media 1 hey? Your going to be quite the interesting individual aren’t you? If my first meeting with you is anything to go by, one moment I’ll be drowning in uncertainty and in the next you’ll have me running to my notepad inspired. Or perhaps that’s just the beginning of our relationship.

I too am heading into the unknown, taking on this course with full knowledge that today’s society has an obsession that verges on crazy with the media. So here I am with not much direction except a passionate attitude and a love of human nature and all its characteristics and intricacies. I shall delve into this year with a pen in hand, laptop in the other and a baffled look on my face.

Since this has turned into a self pep talk, I shall sign off by telling myself that you go Glen Coco, you go.
