NIFF is staging three short film competitions with a Regular deadline of 5 July and Extended deadline of 2 August – and we want to see your film!

SUBMIT YOUR SHORT FILM

The NIFF Open short film category is open to anyone, and to films of any genre.  So if you’re an Australian or international filmmaker that creates short films – whether they’re in the narrative, animated, documentary, travel, ethnographic, experimental, music video, surfing, drone, timelapse or hyperlapse genres – you’re welcome to submit.

The Ecoflicks Open & Youth short film categories will showcase environmentally-themed short films or films that highlight actions that seek to promote human welfare.

Organisers are already thrilled with both the broad international reach and the number of entries received across the three competitions in Australia’s newest film festival.

Official selections of up to 75 short films will feature throughout the Festival program, with filmmakers vying to compete for acclaimed awards and prizes.

Submission guidelines are available at www.niff.com.au with entries being accepted exclusively via global film festival platform, FilmFreeway.com.
