Following on from the success of the inaugural F4 launched at AIDC 2010 – we’re pleased to announce the Call for Submissions for F4 2011, this time working in collaboration with the 2011 BigPond Adelaide Film Festival which is very exciting.

I’m contacting you hoping that you be able to help us find some outstanding emerging Australian documentary filmmaking talent.  As well as doing a general call, I’m contacting targeted individuals to encourage recommendations wherever possible.

The benefits of selection or filmmakers are even more significant this year – please see attached Media Release for full details – and for further general information about F4 please visit http://f4.org.au

“F4 was an incredible learning experience for me, opening up a whole new international world of documentary filmmaking. I met inspiring filmmakers and mentors with whom I’ve since begun creative partnerships with and all my project’s have consequently progressed. I had some invaluable face-to-face meetings with broadcasters and distributors and now have a greater understanding of the market. I wholeheartedly encourage emerging filmmakers to participate in the F4 program.” Elizabeth Tadic – F4 2010 First Filmmaker and F4 Award winner
