My ”take away idea”.

final second front cover

In response to Adrian Miles’ most recent blog post (posted on the 28/7/2014) reminding us all that from a reading, rather than highlighting its soul purpose or listing important facts and quotes, we should be discussing our main idea that we individually understood from the piece of writing.

Week one’s reading written by the very man himself has informed myself of the impact blog posts and blogs themselves have on the present and future’s education systems, media and other industries and general communication between many unheard voices around the globe. Adrian’s piece was a pleasure to read as i could hear and feel the passion in his writing about the importance of blogs particularly within the education system as they provide students with the network literacy that is required. Personally, i see no better way than pushing us straight into the real world of blogging, as even in these early stages i can form real connections with other media practitioners.
I must admit, my first reaction to hearing that we had to start our own blog was boredom and no excitement, but i never truly understood the world of blogging and the endless possibilities it encompasses. Adrian Miles’ ‘essay’ on Blogs in Media Education has made me excited to share my thoughts, opinions, artworks and everything else with a global audience, who knows where this could take me, or where i will end up, i never know, someone quite extraordinary could stumble  over a certain post of mine.
