Our media piece is an audio-based audiovisual experience with the narrative of a stranger wandering the land of Australia after years of catastrophic global climate effects. We created this piece by first deciding to make it primarily an audio experience as our group has worked on audio based media pieces in the past for prior courses, once this was decided we collected our sound effects and stock footage, wrote our script then recorded the dialogue. Editing was done to have the audio feel like we are in the place of the stranger walking through his landscape, the most enjoyable part of the editing was the tape recorded dialogue, it was a good experience in learning new sound editing techniques. Our group enjoyed our research and diving into what our future will look like if no action is taken on climate change.
