You would think being young and living in one of Melbourne’s prolific residential colleges would be a promise of parties long into the night and the forging of unforgettable memories and friendships, but 2020 had different plans in mind for Josh Lochhead and Julia Mitchell. With Coronavirus making the rounds of Melbourne and putting the city into a perpetual state of panic, Josh and Julia are among thousands of young people who have found the pause button hit on their lives. Now they forced to re-evaluate what this year is going to mean for them and reimagine how they’re going to make the most of it. IN RESIDENCE is a 5 minute documentary exploring the ways in which Gen Z have decided to thrive in one of the most uncertain years of their lives.
