This is a two-part documentary about Molly, a nurse, and Luke, a supermarket casual, who are both essential workers during the time of the coronavirus pandemic. ‘Essential’ sets out to inform the community on the experiences of Molly and Luke during a time of uncertainty and stress. They share their stories of the frontline and how they deal with hysteria and anxiety head on with compassion. By listening to what they have to say, light is shed on this scary situation and we can see the other side of toilet paper hoarding.
