Margaret Tanjutco

I use photography for capturing moments, moods, and states of being. It is a tool that helps me appreciate and pay attention to the present through the preservation of colours and details. It is for capturing imaginations and discovering truths. They say a picture speaks a thousand words but I don’t like that anymore. My pictures are poems, not essays.

My own creative photography is very much about process. It helps me navigate ideas and explore uncharted areas of thought/creativity, as therapeutic as it is productive, as inward looking as it is outward. I would like my images to reach people like me who are lost and desperate to live their best lives, to inspire them to explore what in this world they are fascinated by. Follow and capture the obsession until you find its natural end and you move onto the next fascinating thing.
