‘Early Afternoon’ is a 30-minute comedy news show made up of several individual segments about different topics in the current news cycle. These segments cover a wide range of news headlines ranging from political commentary to recent sport updates, with the intent to encourage audiences to think critically about these stories.

The hosts of ‘Early Afternoon’ are:

The National Interest Piece presented by Ryan Hall is titled “Vegans vs Vaccines”. This segment covers the controversial issue regarding the refusal of some vegan communities in vaccinating their children. The last story is titled “Kim Jong-un” and covers the side of a well-known political figure with an unexpected upbringing.

The local story presented by Joseph is titled ‘Bendigo Hargreaves Mall’. This segment covers the long-term issue of the recklessness of Bendigo Council spending on the central strip in the CBD.

The sports segment is presented by Zac Jones and Julian Maidment.
