Web series from the 2016 MWF
When looking to build up our filmography (? – webography?) of web series, here’s one port of call, which is the award winners from the recent Melbourne Web Fest – and most particularly, for our purposes, the comedies. Read the list here:
Review: Week 1 Lectorial
Great to meet you all today and get things kicked off. At this point everything might seem a bit unclear and overwhelming, if so don’t worry, let’s address any questions in Wednesday’s workshop.
In case you need them, the questions we asked you to consider are:
- What are we going to make?
- What is something new that you’ve encountered in this discussion?
- What do we want to get out of this studio?
In Wednesday’s workshop the Media students will refine today’s discussion into a brief, then visit the CW students to get some input.
We’ll also discuss assessment tasks and the studio structure in more detail. See you then!

Process for Applying for Extensions
Here is the link that explains the extension process, and where you can download the application form.
In most instances you will need to apply no later than one working day before the due date.
We’re unable to override this process (ie. grant extensions at our own discretion), so while you should also let your tutor know when to expect your submission, it’s vital you abide by the protocol.
