Project 2 – update

Project 2 is now due Monday August 3 by 10am.

What needs to be submitted?

1. A mobile video work from the MINA 2014 screening in the intensive. Provide the title and name of the maker.

2. An affordance that is taken from your chosen MINA 2014 mobile video work.

3. 1- 2 paragraphs in a blog entry that describes your understanding of the affordance you have chosen. This is written by the group and shared.

4. Three mobile video sketches (made individually), uploaded to a Vimeo account and posted to your blog. Each post should have 250 words under each mobile video clip. The 250 words (from the project 2 brief):

…write a reflection on each one (minimum of 250-500 words). Your reflections should cover any issues that you encountered and explain how the sketch was made.

You should also include a brief description of how your sketch explores the affordance you have chosen.

How do I submit?

i. Copy and paste the details above into your assessment g-doc. An provide answers to each section with links where necessary.

ii. Email the link to your assessment g-doc to your teacher.

By the due date an email with the URL web address of your assessment Google doc will be sent to your tutor. This email will constitute the submission of your task and formally document the date and time it was submitted. Please include the following in the email:

a. Include yourself (and all your group members) full name(s) and student number(s) in the body of the email

c. The subject line of the email should be as follows: PIM S2 2015 Project 2 (Tom Brown s123456) – put the senders name in the subject line

d. Ensure that a correct URL web address for the nominated Google doc is submitted in the body of the email (Marks will be deducted for URL web address that are incorrect)

e. Your tutor will reply to your email with ‘received’ in the subject line. If this does not happen within 7 days, follow it up with your tutor.
